TWO WHEELER AND FOUR WHEELER DRIVING LICENSE FEES IN PANCHKULA

 WHAT IS THE ACTUAL FEES TO GET TWO WHEELER AND FOUR WHEELER DRIVING LICENSE FEES IN PANCHKULA?
The application fee to obtain a driving license varies from state to state however the difference is small. I just paid Rs.100 for my learner’s Driving license fees in Chandigarh DTO. Then I paid Rs.300 for a permanent one. But in February 2017, the fee increased abruptly. For LL, it became Rs.350 and for DL, Rs.1000. There should be an inquiry counter at your RTO where you seek this information.

In Chandigarh, all I paid was Rs.100 to get two wheeler license.( Chandigarh RTO)

  • Smart Card- Rs. 200
  • Test fee Rs. 50

APPLICATION OR VEHICLE CLASS FEE RS.50 PER CLASS

Now if you want two and four wheeler license together then you will have to pay Rs.200. It is Rs.50 for every class of vehicle you want the license for.
It was overall a good experience except for the delivery of the license took around 15 to 25 days. I went to the RTO to know the cause of the delay and all they told me was that the smart cards are out of stock. I don’t know if this is the normal time taken to deliver or the cards were actually out of stock.
Note:  I do not find any reason to find a broker for this job. If you have all documents ready, a vehicle and some time you will end up saving Rs. 3000–5000.

Broker charges in Panchkula are:

  • Bike/Car- Rs. 3000
  • Both –Rs. 5000
